REGISTRATION FEES

* A reduced fee applies to PhD students and participants from Low income & low-middle income countries whose primary affiliation is with an institution in one of these countries (as defined by World Bank here)
** An accompanying person will not have access to the scientific sessions
*** the final fees include a 7% VAT rate

The registration fee includes:
– Confirmation of payment
– Admission to all scientific sessions
– Conference material (conference bag, badge, etc.)
– Coffee breaks and lunches
– Admission to conference social events
– EARIE membership for 2026 (calendar year)

The accompanying person’s fee includes:
– Confirmation of payment
– Access to the lunches and coffee breaks
– Admission to social events

Registration for speakers
Speakers must register by June 1, 2026, (23:59:59 CEST) otherwise their paper will not be included in the final programme.

Making co-author presenter
Instructions on how to make your co-author presenter at the time of registration are written in the acceptance email from the programme chair.

If, after registration, you are unable to attend EARIE 2026 Mannheim, but a co-author is able to present the paper, please inform the conference organizers by July 15, 2026 by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Registration Closure
All non-presenters will be able to register for EARIE 2026 Mannheim until August 13, 2026. Please note that it will not be possible to register on-site.

Registration for Students
If you are registering as a student, please send a copy of your student ID or a letter from your graduate school to [email protected] when you have completed your registration.

Payment

We offer the following method of payment:
– Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
– Paypal

Following the successful payment, you will receive an e-mail with a registration confirmation, which will include detailed information about your payment. Your registration is now complete. If you decline the payment afterwards or if you request a refund, your registration to the conference will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration in writing by sending an e-mail to the local organisers [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation of cancellation in reply.

• Cancellations received by or on June 30, 2026 (11:59:59 CEST) will be refunded, minus a EUR 50 cancellation fee.
• For cancellations received between June 30, 2026 (12:00:00 CEST) and July 31, 2026 (11:59:59 CEST), 50 % of the total amount paid will be refunded, minus a EUR 50 cancellation fee.
• Any cancellations received after July 31, 2026 (11:59 :59CEST) or no-shows will be non-refundable.

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with [email protected] in copy . They will only be considered valid with a confirmation of email from the local organisers.

Insurance and Disclaimer

Neither the local organising committee of the 53rd annual conference of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE), nor the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE), nor ZEW Mannheim, University of Mannheim, Macci Association nor any other third parties involved in the organisation of EARIE 2026 Mannheim, provide insurance. The parties listed above do not accept liability for losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss of or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings at the conference venue. Furthermore, the parties listed above do not take responsibility for any loss, accident, damage or illness that might occur during the conference or in the course of travel to or from the event site. Please check the validity of your own travel and/or health insurance to ensure that you are fully covered throughout your stay in Mannheim.
